Kim Rickets pulls together some amazing events in the Seattle area if you're into cooking and cookbooks (I have a small library of cookbooks and love 'em...I read them like novels...kind of weird I know). You get to meet the authors in an intimate setting, hear them speak, talk to them personally and partake of some of their specialities in a fantastic local restaurant whose chef pays homage to the visitor. Very, very cool to a food geek like me.
